Sholinganallur Wetlands

Why a Wonder: A special wetlands that is frequented by beautiful migratory birds, especially flamingos.

Where: Chennai, Southern India.

When: The season for migratory birds is between November and April. The stars of the show are the flamingo.

Photography: Early mornings and evenings are the best time for photography. A zoom lens in the 100-400 range with 1.4x tele-converter, or a 200-500mm zoom are recommended.
